Bangkok hosted two major cosmetics trade shows: COSMEX 2022 and In-cosmetics Asia. The regional cosmetics events seek to improve the beauty sector in Thailand and the surrounding countries by introducing new business prospects and innovations.
In-cosmetics Asia, an Asia Pacific event for personal care ingredients, was being hosted in conjunction with COSMEX, an ASEAN-scale cosmetic industry show.
RX Tradex, a subsidiary of RX, the largest events organizer in the world, is responsible for planning both of these conferences. RX organizes prominent, niche-specific industry events where buyers and sellers may meet and do business.
The theme of this year’s event, according to RX Tradex Managing Director Varaporn Dhamcharee, was “Beauty Beyond Boundaries.”
Organizers said their hope that increased exposure at events like these will help smaller cosmetic businesses survive in the fiercely competitive beauty market. Therefore, the expos serve as a venue for corporate networking and educational lectures.
More than 500 exhibitors from across the beauty sector will be presenting their newest products, services, and trends at COSMEX 2022.
The event also features displays of eco-friendly and non-toxic chemicals in an effort to promote sustainable economic growth or “clean beauty” standards, which will be the dominant trend in the year 2023.
