Samut Sakhon Prepares for Songkran Travel Rush

As the Songkran Festival approaches in 2024, the Samut Sakhon Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, under the leadership of Police Lieutenant Santhiti Thamjai, is gearing up for the anticipated surge in travel. From April 11 to 17, 2024, significant movement is expected as people journey to their hometowns and commute for work. To manage the potentially heavy traffic along Rama 2 Road, measures are being implemented, including the opening of special lanes. These reversible lanes will stretch from the entrance in front of the Bang Krachao Subdistrict Administrative Organization to the Porto Go rest stop project, aiming to ease congestion and ensure smoother travel for the public.
