The National Health Service (NHS) now includes Medicare recipients.

More preventative care treatments, such as those for multiple illnesses, are now included in the National Health Security program for the aged.

For the next fiscal year (2023), the government has promised expansions to the National Health Security (NHS) program for the aged, including new services for the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of a wider range of ailments. Rachada Dhnadirek, the government’s deputy spokesperson, gave the official statement.

Diphtheria, tetanus, and influenza vaccinations are available to the elderly through the National Health Service. Nutritional status, mental health, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, HIV, and STD testing are also available.

More diagnostic procedures, such as those for colon cancer, oral cancer, breast cancer gene mutation, and tuberculosis screening with a chest x-ray for high-risk populations like those over the age of 65 who smoke or have a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, will be covered under the new plan.

Dental care, including implants, will be covered by the expanded plan. In order to oversee the administration of the local health security fund, provincial capacity-restoring fund, and the fund for long-term care of the needy, the National Health Security Office (NHSO) collaborates with local administrative bodies.
