For APEC 2022, a Security Command and Control Center was built

General Prawit Wongsuwon, the Deputy Prime Minister, oversaw the construction of the security command center for #APEC2022. He also instructed government authorities to intensify their efforts to combat terrorism, improve traffic flow, and ensure the safety of all citizens, as well as to act on any new information they may get and to implement policies to reduce cybercrime.

He also urged the general public to be welcoming hosts and emphasized the need of stopping anyone from tarnishing the country’s reputation.
