The Prime Minister Announces the MDES ROV Free Fight and Wishes Players Success

As part of the “Thailand 4.0: The Future and Beyond” lecture and exhibition in Bangkok, the ROV Free Fight by MDES e-sports contest has began. The prime minister has voiced his support for allowing space for members of the younger generation to exhibit their potential and contribute to the economy.

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha launched the ROV Free Fight by MDES e-sport tournament and greeted the participants. He thanked the groups who jointly organized the event, which he said gave a venue for individuals to showcase their strengths and skills. He added that e-sports have garnered the interest of the Thai public and that competitions are frequently organized in Thailand and overseas. The government has sanctioned e-sports as an official competitive sport. E-sports are increasingly included in the curriculum, the creative economy, and the digital economy.

According to the prime minister, the government recognizes the significance of e-sports as a profession and an industry for the younger generation. A player can become a member of the national team, a professional player, or a game streamer. All of these choices will create profits for the gamers.

General Prayut wished luck to all contestants in achieving their objectives. He instructed the players to do their responsibilities to the best of their ability while adhering to the regulations and demonstrating sportsmanship. They were also encouraged to make the most of the tournament’s experience and the connections they are forming during the competition.

ROV Free Fight by MDES is a component of the technology and digital economy-focused “Thailand 4.0: The Future and Beyond” lecture and exhibition. The DES ministry and the Thailand E-Sports Federation collaborated to arrange the ROV event.
