Siam Paragon has unveiled the newly redesigned Paragon Hall, aiming to establish it as a premier destination for world-class events and entertainment in Bangkok. Emphasizing the “Extraordinary Eventainment” concept and its status as Thailand’s first carbon-neutral venue, the facility seeks to attract both local and international event organizers and visitors.
Previously known as Royal Paragon Hall, the venue has undergone significant transformation and rebranding. With a fresh look, Paragon Hall aspires to be a global destination offering top-tier event and entertainment experiences in the heart of Bangkok.
This initiative aligns with the Thai government’s strategy to position Thailand as a leading event hub. By collaborating with business partners, the government hopes to draw major international events, thereby stimulating the economy and boosting tourism, as noted by Siam Alliance Management Co Ltd, a specialist in managing world-class conference and performance centers.
“The refurbishment of Paragon Hall marks the beginning of an exciting new era,” stated Managing Director Kritsana Janyasakulwong. She emphasized that the venue will now support larger-scale events and innovative formats. “We aim to collaborate with business partners to bring their visions to life through global events.”
Spanning over 10,000 square meters, Paragon Hall includes a central hall of approximately 5,100 square meters. The versatile space can host events ranging from intimate gatherings of 50 people to large-scale events with up to 10,000 attendees. It is equipped to accommodate a variety of functions, including international trade shows, conferences, seminars, entertainment festivals, EDM festivals, fashion shows, gaming tournaments, weddings, and parties.
Paragon Hall’s redesign features state-of-the-art systems, including adjustable soundproof partitions, tunable white ceiling lights, and a smart lighting system with customizable color temperature and brightness. The walls are adorned with adjustable lighting to suit different event atmospheres. Its location within Siam Paragon, a major shopping and dining destination, further enhances its appeal.
“The past 18 years have established Paragon Hall as a premier hub for world-class events and entertainment,” said Ms. Kritsana. “It is a trusted venue for both local and international entities, event organizers, artists, and diverse brands.” The venue’s high standards are reflected in its certification by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, meeting ASEAN and Thailand MICE Venue standards in terms of physical aspects, technology, services, and sustainability.
As Thailand’s first carbon-neutral event venue, Paragon Hall is certified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization for its efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This eco-friendly operation aligns with the growing demand for sustainable products and services, enhancing the venue’s image as a leader in sustainable event development.
Ms. Kritsana expressed high expectations for the newly transformed hall, anticipating a significant boost in sales and revenue, especially in the latter half of the year, with 100% of its space already reserved. She projected a revenue increase of over 30% from the previous year and a 30% rise in the number of events in 2024.
Notable attendees at the unveiling event included various government officials and business partners, all highlighting the collaborative effort to position Paragon Hall as a leading event destination.
