On July 23, 2024, at Terminal 21 shopping mall in Pattaya, Chonburi province, Mr. Pramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya, held a press conference to announce the inaugural Pattaya Mobile Health Fair in honor of His Majesty the King.
This initiative coincides with the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024, aimed at enhancing the delivery of public health and medical services to the community. Mr. Kiattisak Sriwongchai, Acting Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City Administrative Committee, and other government officials and associated agencies attended the press conference.
The Pattaya Public Health and Environment Office, Health Promotion Section, along with the Department of Health Security, will organize the first Pattaya Mobile Health Fair from July 25 to 26, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the multipurpose area in front of Pattaya City Hall. Government and private healthcare units will collaborate to offer free health screening services including lung X-rays, ultrasounds, and cardiac assessments.
The fair aims to promote prevention, treatment, and health restoration through both traditional Thai medicine and modern healthcare practices, encouraging self-monitoring, protection, and appropriate treatment where necessary.
