In the footage, the military personnel, armed with a pistol, approaches the motorist at the toll plaza before eventually returning to his vehicle. Lieutenant General Theerapong Patamasing na Ayutthaya, the RTAF spokesperson, confirmed the identity of the military personnel involved. General Songwit Noonpakdi, chief of the defence forces, responded promptly by ordering the detention of the officer in question.
