People in Bangkok are taking advantage of the long weekend to get their booster shots at the Bang Sue Central Vaccination Center, as a new wave of cases is being driven by new Omicron sub-variants.
This long holiday weekend, a large number of people are visiting the vaccination center. To accommodate vaccine recipients, the center has implemented a queuing system that ensures sufficient physical separation.
To reduce crowding and wait time, people who want to get their vaccine at this center are encouraged to make an appointment through their mobile carrier.
Walk-ins are also welcome at the center. Without an appointment, people can get their shots between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The facility is open seven days a week.
Vaccine recipients are reminded to check their eligibility for boosters by following the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health. The first booster should be given approximately 90 days after the primary schedule, and the second should be given approximately 120 days after the first.
