It has been announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that all 21 member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum will be attending the upcoming leadership summit that will take place from November 18-19.
According to Don Pramudwinai, who serves as both the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, a number of world leaders and representatives are expected to be present at the meeting. These include Chinese President Xi Jinping, French President Emmanuel Macron, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman, and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.
In the meantime, United States Vice President Kamala Harris will be representing the United States in place of President Joe Biden, who will depart Asia following the G20 Summit in Bali in order to attend the wedding of his daughter at the White House on November 19.
It is anticipated that bilateral discussions would take place on the sidelines of the APEC gathering as well.
